Lughnasadh

The next event on the calendar is Lughnasadh which is held during the 1st and 2nd August, which are non trading days.

Lughnasadh (Lughnasa) is a Gaelic festival that marks the beginning of the harvest season. It was widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man. Lughnasa is traditionally held on the 1st August, or about halfway between the summer solstice and autumn equinox.

Lughnasadh is one of the four Gaelic seasonal festivals, along with Samhain, Imbolc and Beltane.
